Montalcino with Gusto Cycling

Eroica Montalcino

Weekend 26th to 29th May 2023

Eroica Montalcino takes place in the beautiful and enchanting hilltop medieval town of extraordinary beauty, Montalcino, located south of Siena, your right in the heart of the stunning Val D’Orcia region, declared a UNESCO World Heritage area in 2004 and is the home of the world-renowned Brunello wine. Here you will be surrounded by many Brunello wine estates, stunning scenery which includes “Strada Bianche” gravel roads and fabulous Tuscany cuisine.

The weekend event is much lower key than its big brother L’eroica in Gaiole in Chianti (held in October ), which in turn gives it a more charming experience without the huge crowds. The routes will visit many iconic towns and villages, such as Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia & Buonconvento, plus stunning white roads.
